I learned a lot reading this book.  The author has done a very good job explaining what lead up to the MayDay protests and what the aftermath was.  The author has done a lot of research from the view point of the protesters and the government determined to stop them.  The book is well written and brings this turbulent time to life. Enjoy

It took me forever to get started, but once I got into it I couldn’t put it down. A well-researched book on an historical event we all forgot.
