This made me dislike Judy Greer. Terribly written - all over the place with her thoughts and many of her vignettes were not very interesting.

I really, really wanted to love this book. I mean, I loved Judy Greer in Arrested Development and every chick-flick I've seen her in (which is probably most of them). But I kept thinking, man this book would have been awesome if she'd had a really good editor. I liked reading the fun stories about Hollywood and the jobs she's had, but there were things about it that bothered me (always calling her husband by his full name, using commas improperly in stream-of-consciousness moments), and I had a hard time getting over those.

i'm a fan of a good celebrity or hollywood memoir. this is not that book. even worse was the audio version, as the author's syrupy teenage voice grated more with each pointless, empty anecdote from her shallow supply of life stories.

I had high hopes for this book. I have a special place in my heart for reading funny memoirs and I was so excited to read this one. Unfortunately it fell flat on my expectations.

I read about a hundred pages and decided I didn't want to finish reading it. I ended up just skimming through, reading parts that seemed interesting. Although I thought some chapters were enjoyable, I found it wasn't particularly funny and the parts that were supposed to be weren't delivered in a comical way.

This book couldn't hold my attention.

(I still think Judy Greer is a fantastic actress, but her writing skills…not so much)

I'm obsessed with listening to audio books narrated by their hilarious authors right now. And this was one of my faves - I've always loved Judy Greer and was so excited for this book and it was great, funny, and inspiring even!
