Teagan Hunter has a permanent spot in my Happy warm & fuzzy category! Her books just know how to itch that warm my heart scratch and Glove Save was no different!

Greer was such a grump with a softy side for his mama & Stevie was such a bad a** let me protect my family and what is mine! Amazing black cat meets German shepherd kind of relationship. He needs a date for his mom's 4th wedding, and she might be is out. Especially since he hates love and doesn't want to date. The only way to her his through his daughter, so he offers to become her goalie coach, but before he knows it, Stevie and his daughter are wearing him down, and he is falling, whether he likes it or not.

Let me tell you this is such a fast read!! It could have been a 24 hour read if I wasn't so busy with other stuff. If you are expecting to go into a lot of her past with her ex, do not. If you want just happy cute falling moments with found family, and little happy lovey dovey-ness then you will find it here.

They quickly go from enemies to lovers, and while Greer breaks Stevie down first, Stevie and Macie are the ones who melt that mans frozen black heart!

Glove save is the 6th book in the Carolina Comets series. This is Greer & Stevie's book and boy does this book have it all. You get all the banter and humor, hockey, the single mom, ALL THE FEELS & spice. I adored Stevie's daughter Macie, such a sassy little girl. I devoured this book. Greer just might be my new favorite Comet, look out Miller. This is a must read.

4.5⭐️ I really liked this new addition to Teagan Hunter’s Carolina Comets series. She’s created such a fun hockey world, and it was awesome to see how Stevie and Greer fit in with previous characters.

Jacob Greer can be summed up as the grumpiest goalie ever, who doesn't believe in love and hates kids! Stevie is a single mom, who works hard to support her 10 year old daughter, Macie, and is the sister of Scout, who is dating Grady Miller, who also plays for the Comets. The relationship between Greer and Stevie is wonderful, it develops slowly but the chemistry and sparks heat up the pages
Macie is a huge hockey fan, but she's never been on the ice so in exchange for Stevie being Greer's date to the his mom's wedding, Greer agrees to give Macie lessons, and she's a natural. As they spend more time together, things get more serious between Greer and Stevie and despite Greer's belief that he isn't capable of love, and Stevie's determination that she will never give her heart away again, feelings develop.
This book is so well written, it flows quickly, the characters development is realistic but most of all, Macie is delightful!! My favorite book in this series so far!
