Liked it—fun, light, quick story. Contemporary romance, typical plot.
Minor: Stalking

I started this book years ago, but I think I’d burned out on Nora Roberts at the time. I was surprised at how much I enjoyed it this timed. The reason I didn’t give it higher than 3.75 stars is that one of the subplots just doesn’t seem to fit the tone of the rest of the book.
Clare, the heroine, has a stalker, and there is a violent confrontation. There are also multiple scenes from the stalker’s POV ad he is watching her. Those scenes are jarring in what is otherwise a heartwarming small town romance and first rate competency porn.
Changed my rating from 3.75 to for after sitting with the book a few days.
