Walsh gives Marianna Zapata a run for her money. This is such a slow burn, but so good. I was so into Shannon’s family drama, and our poor Johnny (it hurts to read about him) that I immediately went to the tomb that is book 2. It says a lot that I’m still reading after the million pages that is this series!

So so so so good! Literally finished the first book and had to start the 2nd one in the series right away! It was left on such a cliffhanger there was no way I could hold off on the second book. Love this book - could not put it down, cannot wait to read through the rest of the series!

4.5 stars. Johnny is EVERYTHING. He is up there with Noah Reilly (IFYKYK). There was just something about this book that wasn’t quite a 5 star read for me but I really can’t put my finger on what it was. Maybe I’m hoping the second book will be even better? I think I need the angst to feel more angsty if that makes sense.
The way Johnny and Shannon interact with each other will have your toes curling. It’s literally the cutest thing on earth.
Also, absolutely ADORE Claire and Gibsie and I can’t wait to read their book. Honestly, I’m much more excited to read their story than I am Joey and Aoife’s.
