The book was a really great read until the very end which was kind of not explained or seemed rushed. Throughout the whole book characters had obvious and even harsh consequences of their own actions only for the ending to be without them

this was so mediocre, i'm sorry HJWEHRWEKJHR. i really thought that it would be better than the myth but sometimes you can't outdo the original and that's okay. i don't know what the reason was for the author to put this myth in the trojan war but it made no sense and had no other relevance aside from psyche's cousin potentially being a catalyst of compromise and peace between achilles and agamemnon which i didn't see happy bc i feel like with two polar opposites, they're going to find ways to undermine and kill each other, especially in ancient greece lol.
