it wasn't a "life-changing" book. it's like a book of usual advices people give you. with the thickness of it, I expected more but it's fine. still has some new useful lessons for me yet not that much. I've tried the timetable its suggested but it's not that simple to be done as a lazy person lol. maybe the title was right that it's for highly effective people not me as a person who just WANT to be effective. still good to read though.

I get it, but I also started glazing over around halfway

More of a 4.5 star book, but I have the version with "fresh insights to each of the values by Sean Covey". This would be like Jethro Einstein presenting a new spin on e=mc^2, or Michelangelo Jr. putting sunglasses on the statue of David. Needless to say, I skipped those parts.

The 7 Habits, however, are amazing and applicable in every facet of life. Like most self-help/management books, they seem pretty obvious on the surface, but are presented really well with good anecdotes and application recommendations.

There's a reason this one is a classic and has been spun-off "Chicken Soup" style into a million different variations.

Some helpful nuggets and concepts to ponder. The author is pretty “old school”, in some ways that I personally align with and others that I don’t. EXTREMELY repetitive.

I love this style of book. You can't really fix your coworkers or the general public, but you can work on you and help other with a bit of style. This book will take you places!

This book makes all the other self-help books I've read look like a joke. So good.
