I think this book was well researched and informative. My favourite part was learning more about the evolutionary link between birds and dinosaurs. It seemed like the author was realistic with his claims, considering how relatively recent these discoveries are. However, the personal touches should have been used more sparingly. I appreciated knowing more about the researchers and their techniques, but I feel like the author inserted himself too much. In my opinion, these passages made the narrative thread feel disconnected. I would have preferred a tighter focus on the dinosaurs' story. Overall, I still enjoyed my time with this book.

About as interesting as you can make a book about dinosaurs to someone with no extraordinary interest in paleontology.
