We've seen mention of Oz and Reeve throughout the V n V series and we finally get their story.

From a one night stand that wasn't meant to be more as both men have baggage comes a wonderful read in this series.

Friendship, drama and a HEA.

Marley writes emotion so beautifully. Loved so many things about this book. Great spice. Awesome side characters. Very likable MCs that you could feel falling in love. Marley doesn’t miss!

Endnu en god fortælling af Marley Valentine. Autentiske følelser og problemstillinger. Dejlige bipersoner og skønne hovedpersoner.

This book is a bit different than the other books I’ve read in the series. I can’t exactly explain why. It just has a different vibe for me. That’s not a bad thing. It was just a bit unexpected I guess. It does not mean it wasn’t enjoyable because it was a decent read.

In this book both of the MCs work at V&V. Oz works in the wine bar and has since the beginning. Reese gets a job at the bookstore. Oz and Reese first meet via a hook up app and have an immediate connection. A couple weeks later they reconnect when Reese discovers Oz works at the place he just got a job. But they can’t figure out how to deal with the obvious connection between them when both men said they had no interest in a relationship. Throw in a fake boyfriend escapade and it further complicates things.

The story arc moves a little slow and I think that is exacerbated by the seeming ridiculousness of the two men to just admit they are attracted to each other and give in to officially dating. They know the relationship has a time limit as Reese is scheduled to go home at the end of the summer and go to work for his parents in the family financial business. So, what? Neither of them has heard of a summer fling?!

The stubbornness of the men, but mostly Reese, to just face facts is annoying. It doesn’t really promote tension or suspense as I’m sure is the intent. Rather it just made me annoyed with them.

The crisis point is predictable as is the resolution. It’s a very sweet ending which we get in a bonus epilogue I had to download separately. That was annoying too.

So not one of my favorite reads in the series but was a decent read, particularly because of Oz. I enjoyed his character and watching the character development there.

UNFORGETTABLE was well… unforgettable!

Marley is so incredible. She just gets how I love. I’m a Scorpio Venus so I’m just very attracted to the obsession of love, the NEED. I said this in my review for DEVILRY as well. But it’s true. And that’s why I love Marley’s novels because she gets that.

While not as angsty as I would’ve liked, there was still enough to satisfy me. And THANK YOU for not letting the angst only be like one or two pages before it gets resolved. That always irks me! Like… let us REALLY experience the angst!

Absolutely loved Oz and Reeve!!
