My new favorite romantasy. I just wish this wasn't a standalone because I'm going to miss Asha and Kiran so much!

I love a retelling and this 1001 nights retelling is so interesting and captivating.  you truly love these characters and the not black and white issues

humans lie all humans do is lie humans are liars human women lie human women are liars humans lie all humans lie humans are liars they lie lies all the time.....The whole book summed up.

This book had potential. It sounded like it would be a nice fantasy read. Instead, I got 800 pages of the mmc, talking about how humans lie. This could have been executed so much better, but instead, it was just meh.

The plot was interesting. That's all I can really say as a good thing.

This book was dragging on and I was at the point where I was waiting for something to happen. Yes, the slow burn was more than deserved and I loved the internal conflict of the two MCs, but goddamn.

I tried to force myself to finish the book but found the story poorly written and all over the show. Just not for me.
