Law meets Cassarah while he is on sabbatical. She knows what it's like to be in the system. All Law wants is to break through her shyness.

Elijah "Law" Jackson is needing to get away for a bit. Leaving his MC is temporary and he can always check in via phone but after a long relationship ended and a case he was working on goes off rails he needs some quiet time. Law didn't expect to find himself entranced by sweet and shy Cassarah Clarke, the waitress in the local diner he was having breakfast at. Law decides she might just be the diversion he needs and he is falling for her hook, line, and sinker. But when he gets called back home what does that mean for the blossoming relationship?

I loved this one. I have been waiting for Law's backstory since he was introduced. I really liked Cassarah she is on the run but not letting it get her down. Everything about this one was perfectly done.

Another hit!

I've wanted to hear Law's story since the 1st book. Yes he is an Alpha, but he also has a huge heart especially when it comes to Cassarah and Emma. Little Emma aka the parrot got to love the littles when they are that age. I laughed out loud a few times due to her parroting. I liked how they saved each other without knowing that their lives were going to intertwine. The only thing I would have liked to see is Ava being out in her place by not only Law, but Cassarah as well. Now to wait for Capone and Bridget's story.
