It was a great books. It was a bit too much nothing. Like I didn’t like how the only sad part was at the end. It was good though.

Even though typically I am not that much of an romance reader, this book killed me!

The whole book I was just like 'Jamie and Autumn are kind of toxic and kind of not ...' and was Routing for Finny and Autumn!
Well, I got it - for like five pages :/
And then - my downfall - the ending. I mean, I guessed from the very beginning that he was going to die but - after they discovered their true feelings for each other - no. Just no.
And then the sui**de attempt And the sudden pregnancy - I am lost And incredibly sad about everything.
And I cried. A lot. 😭

Please. Read it.
"You're going to suffer, but you're going to be happy about it." 👍🏻

🚨SPOILERS🚨

This book was a roller coaster - and oh boy, that ending…the lack of transition into such a big plot twist was bold and I personally did not enjoy it as much as other readers.

Overall, I generally liked the characters throughout the book. The story was compelling and the romance aspects were especially well written. I just wish it was a little shorter, I understand that a lot of the chapters were used to develop Autumn and Finn’s relationship - but at some points It just seemed unnecessary.

Nice read, lower rating because felt it was a really long story line and some of it was kinda unnecessary and just fillers. Enjoyed enough to preorder the second. Thought about the ending for a couple of days, did not cry but still couldn’t get out of mind. Enjoyed

This book is told in chapters that feel like snapshots into the world of two teenagers, Finny and Autumn. They are in love with each other but are unwilling or unable to admit it to themselves or the other. They are fated to love one another — their mothers have been best friends for their entire lives. The last third of this book I just knew it was building toward something bad, the book just gave off a vibe. While the last third also gives you a lot of good, it’s a bittersweet ending. For some reason, I didn’t connect with the characters as much as I thought I would. But I still liked them. The ending made me sad, but I didn’t cry. I’m not sure what to make of that.

If the ending was not the stupidest ending that I have ever read this book could've been a 4 star read;however, although I really enjoyed the book till the 75% mark I really disliked how the author wrapped up the story. It felt like there were too many loose ends and
her getting pregnant does not tie the story in my opinion
So this book ended up being a meh.

This book was presented as a must read if you like Kasie West (my favorite author, read all her books) and enjoy Jenny Han (love her series). I was excited to read it and so very disappointed. The first few chapters were interesting, then it was slow and boring. They cover the characters in elementary, then cover each grade 8-12. The main character just complains and the couples loves all feel false. The end of the book is interesting but the ending feels forced. I don’t recommend.
