3'5. Es una historia amena y muy emotiva, pero hay algunas cosillas que me chocan. Aun asi he disfrutado del road-trip :)

Se lleva las tres estrellas por el último tercio del libro, que si no serían 2.

It was a lovely story! “First Love” by James Patterson was a very good book about two young adults falling in love. It reminds of The Fault In Our Stars.

Sweet, short, romantic and everything all first loves should be. Except for the dying part, of course.
The book starts off with Axi, short for Alexandra, deciding to skip the remaining few weeks of high school and leave her hometown of Klamath Falls, Oregon, to embark on a great adventure. And she is bringing along her hot and sexy guy best friend Robinson with the hopes of permanently stepping out of the friend zone.
They steal motorcycles, hotwire cars, sleep under the stars, share a bed, crash a Hollywood party. Everything seems fun and endless, until Robinson starts getting sick again.
It's sad without being overly melodramatic. It's romantic without being cheesy-barfy. It's simple and well-written, and Axi and Robinson are just perfect.

This book portrays young love in a way that I wouldn't want my daughter to believe is acceptable. I don't like things like stealing cars and holding troopers at gun point to be glorified. However, putting that aside, it was a sweet story of what two teens do when one is terminally ill.

This was excellent. I knew I'd love it, as I always love James Patterson ' books. This did not disappoint. The story is very vividly told and moves quickly along. You can easily read it in a day or two...you just want to read more. definitely takes a twist and from there another story is revealed. The characters are sweet together and the ending is very bittersweet.
