It was good, much like Nora, but with a shocking end.

I was sort of tired of endless references in literature to this Ibsen's play, so finally I've decided to pick it up. It felt so modern that it's somehow uncanny. It was absolutely fascinating while I was reading it but once finished it was like "so, why all this fuss about".

this play is really good. What made this book so good was mostly Hedda; she is very very interesting to read about, and although she may not be a great person, she is a great character.

I can't figure out all of her motives, but I think I get the big stuff.

It's a thinker.

It'll be interesting to see it performed.
