I only had to read excerpts from the book for a class and do not feel the need to finish the book, even though I liked what I read.

Read selections from this textbook for class. Although I did not read the entire textbook, I'm still choosing to count it towards my 2021 Reading Challenge, as I spent a great deal of time reading and studying from it.

Read for class. I didn't read the entire textbook, as it is over 1,000 pages, but I'm counting it towards my Goodreads challenge anyway, because I spent a great deal of time slogging through it. It was not enjoyable for me, because the selections were almost entirely poetry - incredibly dense poetry, at that. Now on to the third volume for the last few weeks of class - hopefully it will contain more texts that interest me (and a lot less poetry!).

Didn't read all of it (obviously it's like 900 pages) but the poems and short stories I did were generally great. Good introductions as well. I might go back to this one in the future!

I read this for one of my classes in Medieval Literature. There were a lot of very interesting stories and poems in here. If you want a whole range of different Medieval classics, I definitely recommend checking this out!
