Really fresh and funny with some lines that stop you short. Captures love and heartbreak in all its messiness and (skewered) clichés.

This pamphlet combined 3 of my favourite things in poetry: love, heartbreak, and pop culture references (!)
I really liked how song titles and lyrics were weaved into so many poems in this pamphlet, and it was fun to read a title and pause to think to myself, ‘where have I heard that before??’

I really enjoyed this poetry pamphlet by Bridget Minamore. The poems which mostly centre around a relationship are keenly observed, humorous and incredibly touching.

I saw Bridget Minamore perform live a lot of the poems in this pamphlet and she was captivating. I would really recommend seeking out any videos online or a live performance if you can.

I was introduced to Bridget Minamore's work because she was a guest for the Thirst Aid Kit podcast episode on British Baes, where she read out a fuck poem she wrote about Charlie Cox. Bridget Minamore is wildly talented and I think about this fuck poem a lot, as well as the one Bridget wrote about Chris Evans.

There's a video of Bridget's website of her performing some of her work from this collection of poetry. I highly recommend you check it out.
