This was a fun new setting! I like the concept of this world a lot, but this first volume had a lot going on. I'm not too attached to the characters yet, but I hope with later volumes they'll grow on me. Not my favorite of Sanderson's, but certainly not bad.

Book3 OWLs readathon: charms, An adult book .
Spoilery parts are summery of what happened in the chapter.

3,5 stars,
I liked the introduction. The art style wasn't my favourite but It felt like sand was the main part of it and that served the story well.

Ch1 : World introduction
It was not a usual way for me to consume fantasy world but it worked. I liked Kenton.

Ch2:
Spoiler Action starts near the end of the chapter and the story becomes more interesting
. Here I started to be invested in the story.

Ch3,
Spoiler Another part of the world was revealed and problems appear.

Ch4,
Spoiler another new part of the world and politics get involved

The rest,
The story continued. I didn't like the plot of the Darkside that much. I didn't connect to the characters .Maybe at the end ,I liked the two guys but there was not enough time for them.

Nota 2.5 ⭐
- Menino chato
- Não curti muito a magia
- Que path mais estúpido???? 5 bolinhas na areia, uau, mt difícil
- No final ficava pulando de um pov pra outro muitas vezes, foi horrível
- Plot chato (que plot?)

Spring 2020 (March);
~ My Sisyphean Sanderson Challenge

I finally waded my way into Sanderson graphic novels, part 2! This is going to be another write-up across to volumes (yes, only two so far, as I'm still needing to read number #3 sadly, alas!). I love, love, love this absolutely different system of magic, and the family/friend dynamics being played out everywhere. I love how Sanderson manages to pull in such disparate people(/s) and then slowly work them together, in highly believable way, with many slips and pitfalls along the way.

I am quite excited to get on to volume 3.
