DNF @ 75%. This was just so cringey to me. I couldn’t figure out at first why this book wasn’t hooking me. But upon reflection it was a few things. I think I just don’t like the miscommunication trope; it annoys me. The banter between the two main characters was bland and obnoxious at times. The heroine had imho bizarre decisions/behavior. The chemistry was not there although the spicy scenes were okay. It lacked plot and the little plot there was seemed to be so unbelievable to me that I couldn’t take it seriously enough to feel what the author (I think) wanted me to feel. I like books that have me on the edge of my seat, make me cry, make me laugh, make me swoon, make me feel SOMETHING. This did none of those. Overall just not my jam.

I liked this book! I LOL’d a lot through it! but I feel like it was very dragged out and repetitive. but over all it was a good book and will most likely read it again!

I had actually read this series a few years ago & loved it. I completely missed that there was an audiobook for each of the books & had to start a reread of the series.

This book is such a neat chance meeting that leads into a second chance romance. Ryan & Tessa have such a great instant connection with each other & the chemistry is seriously off the charts. The way that these two find their way back to each other is nothing short of entertaining. There are definitely some movements that you will feel embarrassment on behalf of the characters. It is such a well written book.

I love this book & how everything comes together, it makes for an amazing read & audiobook listen.

Bucket full of laughs, swooning, and sexy times!!

I read this book on a book recommendation from a few of my friends from a BBF group.
I’m officially in love with the Morgan brothers! Like ALL of them. Ryan Morgan where have you been all my life!!
Ryan (Captain) is the kind of BBF you swoon after and melts you to the very core- there’s all out male model perfection, tattoos and piercings (you definitely need to read just for this!!)
Tessa is the kind of heroine you click with!
Together they are perfect- what can ever go wrong, especially when the stars aligned for them to meet in the first place... of course that HEA didn’t happen because the book would’ve been over in a few chapters. Could fate bring them together again?
This story made me laugh, swoon and melt to the very core!!
I highly recommend the Audiobook too!
Lauren Rowe did Tessa’s POV- that Latina infusion is so unbelievably hotttt!
I absolutely need to read the rest of this series!
5 Stars ⭐️ ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

2.5 rounded up.

It was pretty fluffy but I really enjoyed the brothers conversations to each other, they felt real and funny. I didn't super mind, but holy fondue was that ending cheesy.

I really enjoyed this book but could’ve done without the very fluffy HEA epilogue. I know these are romance novels and they’re supposed to be fun and happy but just leave the “and they got married, had kids, and still lusted after each other like horny teenagers” part implied.
