I really enjoyed this book and I haven't been reading as much mystery books as I would like. This book was a nice getaway from my usual romance. This book is about an environmental activist getting murdered on the streets of where she lives over information she wasn't supposed to find. It turns out her boyfriend has evidence on an international conspiracy. I did like this book, but I was just hard to get into. It would lead to one point and then to another making it hard for me to follow towards the middle. The beginning drew me in and I was ready to conquer the book in one sitting, but I found myself wanting to get breaks because it wasn't as captivating. In the series, they are all standalone books although I wish I could of read the first few to get a better feel of the characters.
