New adult sports romance. Childhood friends to lovers. Virgin hero and heroines. Could have used more pining
This is the romance I've been waiting three books for, so while it was overall a decent story, I felt that LJ and Marisa deserved more. Still a decent story, minor jealousy, but a whole lot of thinking that the other didn't feel the same way. So it really gets me with the mutual pining (give me all the pine)
 Could have used more Marisa and dad moments, and wish they had better communication/earlier reconciliation. It still could have been after football season ended, but I think it needed more actual talking.
