Short and to the point, I can best describe the style as a mixture of poetry and novel writing, which results in musings given structure. The story feels like the inner talk of an every day person, watching the warm world they once knew turn cold in the night and conjuring deep thoughts as they watch, only to then go to bed for their job awaits them the next morning. The commentary on contemporary YA romance novels and the other issues that plague our world was also nice. I really liked it!
