Okay, I think this Booktok one is worth the hype. Yes, it is a little YA at times and there's a huge serving of cringey roman-tasy tropes in there. If you're looking for award-winning literature, this ain't it. But it was easy to read and the plot kept me engaged. It gave me nostalgia for books like The Hunger Games and Harry Potter. And I have to admit I got caught up on the fun and silliness of the dragons and hot dragon riders 🐲

Obsessed with this book. All I can think about is this book. The world building at times is stressful and dialogue is very modern but I like it for that. I love the world building and I’m looking forward to more character development between the main characters and relationships between them. I’m excited for the second book thank you Rebecca!

Honestly did not want to like this but I actually LOVED it and have immediately started the next book.
