LOVELY. A cute addendum to a really fabulous show, which I love to pieces. I also much appreciate that these are further adventures (some of which fit in-between episodes) as opposed to any kind of sequel, because Over the Garden Wall is perfect as it is and needs no sequels. Also I enjoyed that I could hear the voice actors in my head as I read the dialogue. Highly recommended for fans of the show.

This works best, or arguably only as a companion guide to the TV miniseries.

That being said, I very much enjoyed these fill-in-the-gap, supplemental tales, which were extra fun to read with the voice actors' delivery in mind.

Got a special hardcover edition at NYCC, and it's lovely.

Definitely the best of the OtGW comics I've read - after reading the OtGW artbook it seems like many of these story lines were from the original pitch to Cartoon Network, and they feel like they truly fit with the show itself. This collection of short stories is deliberately set up to fill in unseen stories between the episodes of the show, which is also a nice touch.

Sadly these stories weren't as funny as some of the other ones I've read. Also it felt way too wordy.

Greg and Robber are investigating all the stolen sweets frog the Frog Town. I really enjoy any parts that have Greg but Wirt is too dull.

This is such a neat little companion to the incredible Cartoon Network miniseries of the same name. If you haven't seen the show yet and you're interested in this book, you're actually at an advantage as each issue fills in the blanks between the first few episodes (#1 between episodes 3 and 4, #2 between 4 and 5, #3 between 5 and 6 and #4 between 6 and 7 with issue 0 fitting in pretty much anywhere but you might as well read it between episodes 1 and 2). The show is somehow lighthearted yet dark and occasionally scary and spooky at the same time with voices from Elijah Wood and John Cleese among others and the book follows the same idea. Great addition to a wonderful little gem of a show that everyone should give a shot.

The best one out of all the Over The Garden Wall graphics! It felt like an episode of the show and its hilarious to read. It has the same brand of weirdness that is presented as logic. It was so fun to see more of Wirt’s home life with Greg and I squealed at Greg in his little pumpkin slippers and tricycle. Just too cute!

I nearly died at the bit when Beatrice is in Greg’s room and shouts “what is that?” And Greg is just like “oh thats my organ!” And its just this massive piano organ. This graphic just has the same humor and tone that the show has. None of the other graphics have come as close. This one is definitely my favorite!

You need to watch the show in order to understand this but UGH loved it. It was filled with the same weirdness, darkness & humour from the show <3
