Classic and cliche but enjoyable detective story, loved the dual narration and how the mystery unfolded - once I got halfway through I had to continue and finish asap

A good easy read, a fun story to get lost in for a little while.

I enjoyed this so, so much. I love Petra and Isaac and they are wonderful as main characters. I’ve been slogging through the Delaware series and this was a breath of fresh, interesting air and I’m sorely disappointed and think it’s a grand, literary injustice that there are only two books in Petra’s series.

I'm normally not a fan of crime dramas, but my daughter left this book behind when she moved out. I was surprised by the diversity of the characters and the unlikely hero.
