This is a very spicy robin hood why choose retelling. Go into this for the vibes/spice as the plot sort of takes a back burner to that. It's still a fun read and I think the retelling aspects (and fantasy additions to the story) were done pretty well.

This was a Robin Hood mmm/f reverse harem retelling, and I really enjoyed it. I love that Marian went "undercover" at first, but the main characters were able to see past her disguise quickly. From there, the adventures of Robin Hood and his Merry Band continue like we all know and love, with just a bit more spice added to it.

Marian has fallen on hard times and strikes a deal with the prince to help capture Robin and his men. Naturally, her plans go awry when she finds herself enamored of not just Robin but his inner circle of merry men as well.

I enjoyed the twist on the classic characters! Robin sort of gave me Peter Pan vibes at points. A few cringe lines tempted me to roll my eyes. Marian's was my least fav POV, but we have 5 running through the book, so she's doled out in small enough doses. Was she vapid or just sex addled? I'm not sure. She's been through a lot...

Anyway, if you're ready for a poly/why choose romp through Sherwood forest, this should do the trick.
