I read this book without realising there were two more before it, and that it's actually a series! I admit, I spend half my time psychologically analysing Ren but she's literally awesome and I always find myself routing for her. I love crime-thrillers, and I'm definitely keen to read the complete Ren Bryce series.

I enjoyed the BPD representation (though I don't know enough about it to say if it's good representation or not), and found Ren an interesting character. It's interesting to see how she reacts to things throughout the book and tries to live her life unmedicated. The general story was pretty good and I enjoyed the pharma story line, however there were a lot of characters and I did find myself getting a little confused between the Colins and the Cliffs, and the Bryces and the Royces etc. on occasion. This book didn't blow me away but it was enjoyable enough.

Not the best book iv read by far! First half was exciting, plot started off well...a 11yr old girl and her 16yr old babysitter go missing..not long after the father of the 11yr old girl goes missing too.
Second half of book gets a bit too complicated and in my opinion boring. Not at all what i thought the story was going to be.
Too many new characters being introduced through out the book, even in last few chapters. And i like descriptive writing but this was beyond at times.
Plot - good until the theory of it all is revealed..then its just bland for me.
