This isn’t at all what I was expecting. Some reason I thought it would be a sex filled romance. But the sex was way on the back burner. Enough to keep me happy but the story was soooo great. And the Ending wrapped up just enough and then had a cliff hanger ready to go again.

Revisited this classic for book club and it still holds up (minus some outdated terms). It’s a slow start but quickly picks up and keeps you invested. Looking forward to rereading the entire series!

This was my very first Eric Jerome Dickey book. I didn't know what to expect other than a lot of sex (which I've heard about before). I must say, I was impressed with the way he forms his story and characters. The story is great and I'm itching to start the next book in the series.

This was quite the globetrotting assassin read. Every time I zigged with this book, it zagged. Fun, sexy, well-paced. It comes with the standard issue misogyny and gay panic, which sucks. Aside from that, it's great. I'll be checking out more of Eric Jerome Dickey's work.

Maybe it's because I have vivid imagination because this was an amazing read from beginning to end and I want my own Gideon by this point.
