not a sit and read all the way through book...more of a skip around book. jam-packed with fascinating facts for book needs. I learned Saddam Hussain had Quran made written in his own blood, there is a book so small you need an electron microscope to read it, an airforce pilot who a Memoir in which he claimed to have buried treasure near Santa Fe. 4 people died looking for it.

fascinating and bizarre. I just went through and read the descriptions for all the pictures, and occasionally read a paragraph here and there, but it's definitely one worth coming back to and reading more thoroughly someday.

This was fantastic, weird and educational. (In a whaaaaat? sort of way)
Love the fact that there were pictures provided to go along with the text.
I especially loved the parts where authors took time to discredit each other, years crafting elaborate schemes. (Jonathan Swift especially.)

A very interesting book and chock full of literary curiosities. I can't say I want many of them on my shelves haha. Based on the items featured in this it seems that if it can take ink or be carved chances are a "book" has been made from it at some point in time.

Based on the kindle, only approx 70% is the book and the rest appendices etc. 5* otherwise.

I'm looking forward to reading more of the author based on what I already own.
