Could Richelle Mead actually get any better? Yes she can. This book is full of yet again more action and romance and a whirlwind of events. The sharp turn of events in the end of the novel simply broke my heart. I look forward to Rose seeking out Dimitri in his strigoi form and her quest to turn him back into a Dhampir.

La prima metà del libro è estremamente lenta e, sopratutto, piena di gente che ha perso la capacità di fare due più due e che non riesce a dedurre nemmeno le cose più ovvie.
Poi si risolleva e ci regala un paio di scene davvero romantiche, salvo poi traumatizzare il lettore con un finale che nemmeno Moffat nei suoi momenti più perfidi.
Il fatto che ci siano altri tre libri mi spaventa e mi consola insieme '0'

It's probably really 2.5--somewhere between "ok" and "liked." I definitely enjoy the mindless reading, but the overall effect is definitely becoming one of guilty pleasure instead of just pleasure.
