This is the type of romance Christmas book I really needed to read at this point (even though the season is over). I loved the Christmas in Connecticut storyline!

I started thinking I might enjoy this one with its nods at Pride and Prejudice and Christmas in Connecticut, but then the characters and their responses were so over the top that I was just annoyed through most of it.

I made up this arbitrary way to classify romance books (category 1 and category 2). The former is the less desirable one and what this book falls under BUT it served its exact purpose of giving me Amazon Prime Video holiday movie vibes and taking two days to read. Also it references Columbus (the best place in the world) - 3.25

hallmark falling
Cute story, but fairly predictable and very Hallmark movie, none of this stuff would actually happen in real life lol

This was fine. Fake marriage to lovers. All the characters felt flat.

This was a fun read, I found myself laughing out loud through all of the Christmas antics that Laurel finds herself in. This story is a lot of Christmas cheer, family fun, and a sweet romance. A joy to read.
