I really enjoyed this one as well there were a few cringey moments though like the name of the baby. I thought it was so stupid! and I also thought the end was rather anticlimactic especially since it had been building up for two whole books. The raunchy scenes were a+ though. I really enjoy protective body guards.

What a great way to end a beautiful duet!!
The beginning of this book literally crushed me, and the story went on my heart began to mend. This found family that became a wonderful picture of unconditional love is everything.
I love Maree creativity on how she wrote the spice. Man Rome is everything if not perfect. I had so much fun seeing the men in their elements. I also loved seeing Lexi put her walls down for these men who would do anything for her.
Witness Protection has become one of my favorite tropes.

The conclusion in the Shattered Safety duet was a good conclusion to the story. I really enjoyed this book and had a great time reading it. Story was interesting and those spicy scenes were not only hot, but very well written as well. Also there was no lack of those spicy scenes (whoa).
I did put this one aside for a day or so when a trope I don’t particularly like came up, but I worked through it. Overall I really liked it and could see more books from this world being written. I’d definitely read those too!
