I quite enjoy reading Tess Gerritsen but occasionally I have a sense of unease about some of the things she depicts. That is very much the case with "Body Double". I know horrible things happen, I have spent a good deal of my life examining some of those horrible things before a nervous breakdown forced me to turn the page on that part of my life. As a result I tend to avoid books which cross certain lines. This one drew me in and by the time those lines had been crossed I couldn't put it down, not really because it was great so much as I needed the resolution.

So what can I say about Body Double. It seems like a mess as you are reading it, but somehow it all comes together by the end. It's not one of Tess Gerritsen's best books nor is it one of her worst. It's worth the effort if you have the fortitude...if you're not a wimp like me.

This was the weakest book in the series so far. I liked it, I just didn't like it nearly as much as the other three I've read so far.

I was really liking, but didn't appreciate the twist or reveal at the end. It seemed unnecessary or forced.

These books have come so far since the beginning of this series and I am glad that I stuck with it. The added voices of Rizzoli and Isles really make the stories and this novel was impossible to put down!

I thoroughly enjoyed this book on CD. The main characters were likable and the plot kept your interest. I enjoy books, especially, thriller/mystery that have women as the main characters. There were enough twists and turns in this that I did not guess the ending. I also enjoyed that it was only 4 CD's long - a shorter round trip road trip plus a little - not a life long commitment. I will be looking for more Tess Gerritsen books, especially on CD for driving...

Thank the Good Lord they rewrote Maura's storyline for the TV version. This was twisted. Well-written, but twisted.

Another great one! Totally did not see who the stalker was. Really thought it was Rick!
I know they've already explored Maura's parentage on the show, but this one should totally be an episode, some how.
