Another great edition to this series, I highly enjoy the storylines with Fae elements so this was a winner for me. This one deals with child death so it's definitely a heavy topic, but the way the story flowed worked really well. The balance between Anna and Charles relationship and the relationships built with the other characters were different than what we have seen before and getting glimpses into Charles past for Anna to understand the man he is now was done extremely well.
My one flaw was the copious amounts of horse talk in this, I know it had a big part in the plot with the setting but it was a lot for a non-horse person.
