TITLE: Omega Found
GENRE: Paranormal Romance
AUTHOR: Evelyn Flood
TROPE: Omegaverse
TYPE: Series (The Omega War Series Book 1)
POV: Multiple POV
MY RATING: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ / 5
⚠️ Check trigger warnings; this dark content is for +18 readers.
Omega Found takes place in a dystopian omegaverse following the Omega War, where all Omegas have become the government's property and are forced to live on a compound to receive training before potentially being matched with an Alpha pack.
Harper (#792) seems to struggle with the submissive nature being forced on them, making her a target for further punishments regularly, yet she somehow finds herself placed with the Winter Pack (Rogue, Devlin, Ace & Gabe).
Despite some darker elements, I enjoyed Omega Found, which kept my interest throughout the storyline and set the backdrop for further stand-alone books in this series. I am giving Omega Found a rating of 4 / 5 Stars.

Not revolutionary but exactly what I needed. I love these love stories where the world is dark but the care men have for their love just warms your soul.

In a dystopian future where Omega’s are the only ones that can get pregnant, they are confined in internment camps and trained like animals. After receiving intensive ‘training’, Harper is given to the Winter Pack…but the Winter Pack is wary of bringing an omega into the fold.
I agree with a lot of the other reviews in that this book is very surface level. I felt like we skimmed the surface of what this world has to offer. There is enough content and drama to last for a duology, but everything gets sped through SO FAST that it isn’t fully satisfying.
The ending was also disappointing. The Omega Compound is still around. Omegas are still treated like pets. Harper got her happy ending, but the world issues are still the same.
It’s hard to rate because while I ripped through it, and enjoyed it a lot, I wish it got a bit deeper. I want to give it a 4 because I did enjoy it, but also a 3 because though it gave what it needed to give, it could’ve given more.
