I have very recently (with the return of non-hyrda Steve Rogers as Captain America) decided to start following some comic lines as they come out! but I also hated the idea of only following male character books and creative teams. so, because Marvel Legacy was being advertised as a reset / starting point for new readers, I decided to pick up this Captain Marvel despite having read no Captain Marvel (with the exception of her appearances in Ms. Marvel and Civil War II). all that to say: I mostly had no idea what was going on because this issue was kind of a "where are we post-Secret Empire" & set up, but I am looking forward to being a monthly reader of Captain Marvel until it starts to make more sense!

A good issue, if a bit jumbled. I forever love Carol's not wanting to sit still, and Lt.'s newfound humor is wonderful. I love that development with her. May your chakras be aligned, Brand.

This issue came with another legacy stamp. Look at me go.

This issue also had the 3 page run-down on Ms.Marvel/Cap Marvel. A bit terrible in not at least acknowledging the name change, but it's three pages of barely any text SO WHATEVER. (As stated previously, the recap is useless. USELESS!)

I like the idea of returning to the old lettering, but not sure for the permanent change. There is a helpful guide that lays out how we got to #125. Someday I'll get to hit-up Marvel Unlimited to fill those gaps :)
