Started off slow and I was getting lost by all the fantasy stuff (I'm new to it and not what I expected from the book). However, it did get better and the dual perspective is always fun. A little disappointed with how the reunion played out between Dec and his family since there was such a build up to it. Overall, it was cute and Dec is such a dreamy MMC.

Funny and full of heart, A Little Too Familiar is the best blend of humor, fantasy, and romance. Dual perspective narration allows the reader to experience emotional moments from both sides and believe the journey as the main characters find each other and form a family of misfits - humans, uncannies, and familiars - each one seeking a place to belong.
