3.5 stars because it didn’t really add much at all to series it is basically an epilogue for the first book but it’s a nice transition into the second one so i won’t complain too much.

Okay I didn't know this existed.. but I just read it and some stuff made more sense now.
Small, but still nice to know.
I wish we had a novella that happened after the epilogue of the rose and the dagger

This short story shows the end of [b:The Wrath & the Dawn|18798983|The Wrath & the Dawn (The Wrath & the Dawn, #1)|Renee Ahdieh|https://d2arxad8u2l0g7.cloudfront.net/books/1417956963s/18798983.jpg|26724902] from the perspective of Khalid so there are definitely spoilers for anyone hasn't read the full book. It gives a glimpse into his mind as he determines what to do next.

Khalid is perfection personified. Shahrzad is perfection personified. They're a thing of legends together. I can't even...
Also, I'm pissed with Jalal. He better make amends for everything he did and said to Khalid.

It was nice seeing the events of the aftermath of the storm in Khalid's eyes.

AGAIN, i don't understand why these novellas exist when they could have easily been another chapter in the original book.
