The world-building was pretty bad, you get no information on when, why, or how angels attacked earth. You’re not even directly told that the angels attacked at all, all we know is that angels are at war with humans. Still, the plot was so out of pocket that I had to like it.

DNF at page 52, i can’t with the writing style, this isn’t what I, whatever reason, thought it would be, and I won’t be able to stomach the way the MC’s schizophrenic mother is portrayed. Thank u, next.

It's aggravating that this is not available for Nooks, but it was worth the extra effort to read this story. While on the short side (166 pages), it packs a lot of punch. I'm looking forward to reading the second book when it comes out.
