Excellent book!!!
Gah I love Jesse. He was my favorite character from the first two books in the series.

Beautiful story of a single mom, emotionally abused and threatened by an ex husband who has a surprise run in with a younger college student who falls head over heels.

Jesse is patient and kind and absolutely adores and encourages Jocelyn to find herself.

Really enjoyed the audio performances from Kelli Tager and Noah Perez as well.

“To any mom who has ever felt like you’ve lost a part of yourself. It’s never too late to say, ‘Welcome back.’”

You can’t go wrong with any of the Better Love series, but Nothing Feels Better is my favorite! Even from the dedication, I was hooked!

Jocelyn was probably the most relatable main character I’ve ever read, and I loved following her journey as she rediscovered who she was as a person. In addition to being a strong, caring mother who always tried to do her best for her kids, I loved watching her grow and find happiness in all areas of her life.

Jesse has been my favorite character throughout the Better Love series, so I was thrilled to read his story. He’s such a fun, confident, caring person, and he does such an amazing job encouraging and supporting Jocelyn and her kids. Plus the romance book reenactment scenes!!! 🔥

Add in the adorable kids, always looking for people’s superpowers, plus getting to spend more time with my favorite found family, and you have the perfect book! This will definitely be a comfort read that I’ll return to again and again!

I don't know how many times I teared up and then legit cried while reading this book...it was more than a few ;) Most love stories focus on 2 main characters, but Brit Benson gave us 4 in this one, and the romantic love wasnt even my favorite. I'm pretty sure her superpower is taking a story and directly embedding it into our hearts.

It has taken me longer to come up with the words for this book because it was so good. There were also so many little coincidences that made me connect with this book more than others. Jesse’s book was very much anticipated and it certainly lived up to the expectations I had. Brit’s writing gets better and better with each book and I am so glad to have been following along from the beginning. Nothing Feels Better is book 3 in the Better Love series and while it can be read as a standalone, I highly recommend the whole series. Not just because it is amazing, but you get to know all the characters.

BE PREPARED TO FALL IN LOVE WITH JESSE. His fun loving, goofy, jokester personality makes him completely lovable as a person but just wait until you see how hard he loves when in a relationship. A sexy man who knits, is going to be a doctor, and is great with kids, can he get any more irresistible? Jesse develops an undeniable bond with Jocelyn’s kids, especially Jude. Joss can’t believe how quickly they take to Jesse, more so than their own father. Joss and Jesse start off their relationship casually hanging out with the kids but it quickly develops from there. Joss is a strong willed mother who is working hard to go to nursing school and care for her children. Jesse is probably the most unexpected thing to come into her life but they fit so beautifully together. Jesse makes things better for them and supports them in all the ways that were missing from their lives.

Nothing Feels Better is full of sweet and hilarious moments. It is super steamy and includes some butt stuff! I love the strong presence of family and friends throughout the book. The ending almost broke my heart but Brit made sure she put it back together. This book was everything I needed in my life. It is not just the fantastic storyline, but the way Brit writes is so beautiful. Also, READ THE EXTENDED EPILOGUE!

These narrators… wow.. Blow me away! Kelli Tager has already become a top narrator for me after this Better Love series. But Noah Perez was newer to me and he completely became Jesse. Noah brought Jesse to life in the best ways. Both narrators seamlessly were able to take this story from funny, to steamy, to emotional and back again. They were able to capture all qualities of their character and make it an enjoyable listening experience.

Brit has just the perfect balance with her books. They are cute and funny but also deep and so heartwarming.

I adored this book! Jesse and Joselyn were so easy to love and we got to know them each on such a deep level. I loved her kiddos. This single mom romance was perfect!

Favorite Quote: “Jesse, Jocelyn, June, and Jude. We’re all J’s.” Don’t ask me why, this just touched me!
