Brighton is behoorlijk negatief.

'The Prince' krijgt van mij 3 sterren!

"I call you my sunshine because I saw you smile once and it was like the sun finally rising after centuries of nothing but night."

The whole spinoff of Wicked was incredibly heart wrenching with Brighton and Caden's relationship, and while The Prince wasn't my favourite of the novellas (the King probably was), it was really interesting to learn more about Brighton and what happened to the other characters after the series. Brighton's an incredibly strong heroine and I loved her undercover scenes. While it wasn't as long as Wicked, being a novella, there was a lot of fast paced action that kept me turning the pages. You don't need to read the Wicked series before this one, but you will appreciate the characters more if you do. Brighton does note that Ivy was sometimes a little patronizing towards her, but Ivy proved that she was a good friend to her and Brighton became more confident throughout the novellas.

(I personally found it difficult to rate this novella since was part of a bundle).

I think it’s safe to say I actually liked the novellas more than the original trilogy. I didn’t think I cared much to read abiur Brighton and Caden but I ended up really liking both characters. Brighton changed so much from who she was in the trilogy and it was interesting to actually learn about Caden.

The Prince
⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️

I’ve fallen in love with the “villain” from the original series, though that was most likely JLA’s plan all along. But, let me imagine him with dark curly hair and I’m happy, I can’t deal with blondes
