Miles Morales Shock waves  Is a great  book story wise and  graphic wise  The  difference between  the  other comics and books are a noticable one at fact  but still allows you to love them the same. Miles interpetition stays the same though making him love able and even the other    characters changed are still nice .

I like the graphics in this, and the characters are quite good. Fun characters with some wit and humour.
The plot was also more interesting than I thought.

This book is so great. Miles Morales, Spiderman, is a kid superhero. He handles the pressures of being a kid and superhero wonderfully. He realizes Puerto Rico and the missing dad are linked. He and his friends solve the issue. Now on to his next adventure!!

7/10, I enjoyed this first book in a new comic series, I can't wait for more novels in the series. I wonder if this is related to Spider-Man: Into the Spiderverse, I haven't watched that movie, but it looks good. The main character, Miles, had flaws, and struggles, but he overcame them, and he had some strengths as well, which I liked. The main struggle was the natural disaster in Puerto Rico, and I liked seeing him try to cope with the situation, as well as balancing his normal and superhero life. The villain was a little bit on the mysterious side, I forgot what her name was, I didn't know that much about her, but more information could be revealed in the next book in the series. If you like stories about realistic superheroes, this is the book for you.

I’m really loving this middle grade universe being built centering around Miles, Kamala, and Doreen. First Avengers Assembly and now this? I’m going to be getting all of them for my nieces.

a graphic novel written by one of my all time favourite authors, about one of my all time favourite superheroes/the best spider-man (and no, this isn't up for debate)?! of course this was going to be brilliant and that’s exactly what it was, absolutely brilliant.
