I enjoyed reading this book. Looking forward to the rest of the series.

I will say that I enjoyed Aranzeiros POV more than Paige’s but they were a likeable couple but together & apart even though Aranzeiros said some questionable things in the beginning he was willing to want to learn how to better understand Paige.

Paige was sweet, sometimes a bit naive lol but a healthy sort of naiveness. I liked the fact that she was in her late 30’s, a small but enjoyable feature as most romance novels center around people in their late 20’s/early 30’s.

I think this book was a really solid start to the rest of the series; also be forewarned the spice in here is very spicy 🥵 but done with care & consent from both characters, so loved that. Also love that the spice scenes were equally balanced with the plot/pacing of the book. Never felt like it was too much or too little! Again, I enjoyed it !!

The book started off so well but by chapter 7 it became a totally different story altogether. The mmc randomly picked up the scent of the fmc, kidnaps her and takes her back to his realm. The story just became so disjointed as if someone else started writing
