Okay so we can all agree we are mad af that this isn’t the last book, I get it, it’s tiring

ANYWAY…
I’m glad that we are still in this world but can Lionel but leave at this point, it’s been like what 5 books now of him just fucking shit up

Darcy and Orion’s story in this book was good, glad they had each other in their cage etc. no complaints there - except for the fact that Stella just like had some weird vampire voodoo shit and got rid of the curse?

I move - Tory annoyed me so much in this book, and I get it, through the whole series it’s been character driven. BUT I didn’t like the process of her trying to get Darcy and Darius back, it didn’t fit into the book well in my opinion - everytime she was doing stuff with runes it took me out of the story because it didn’t seem to fit?

Meh I’d love this series until I die, I still love it and think it’s probably my fave series. I’m in too deep ❤️

The one chapter that had me crying, throwing up was ofc our boy big D, THANK THE LORD FOR THAT CHAPTER

I

it pains me to rate anything in this series less than 5 stars, but this was very long and a bit too slow for my liking with some completely pointless povs

Sorrow and Starlight is a very fitting name for a book that gave me almost nothing but sorrow for 1,200 pages. Notice how I said almost nothing but sorrow. I did, at times, find myself laughing out loud and swooning & blushing in many of these chapters (Seth’s are my absolute favorite).

My jaw was on the floor during *that* chapter near the end. I fear I will never be the same once this series is finished, but alas, I will be here impatiently waiting for ZA9 (probably for the next year).

There was just no need for the book to be this long.
