Well this was an absolutely lovely read. Zaya and Col are so lovable and their relationship was so sweet and tender and I really loved how it was written. The last 30% was excellent and the ending was so so good and soft.

Nah bc it took me way too long to realize this was a Merlin fanfiction. I thought it was simple and very sweet. I’m always interested in a standalone fantasy because I just don’t want to invest myself in a thousand book series. I liked this a lot.

I enjoyed myself. This was a lovely read that I would more or less describe as "a cozy bite-sized story with stakes to scratch an itch". And scratch an itch it did.
