I thought that so much of it was filler. Just talking about the previous books she wrote rather than give new information. At least it was very short.

idk why I read this! I'm not a writer at all and I knew from the introduction that the contents of the book most likely would not apply to me and yet I felt compelled to continue anyway.

Bought this because it was a Melissa Febos book, but didn’t realise it was about writing. Found it interesting and was beautifully written, but for me as someone who doesn’t write a ton anymore, think the subject matter just wasn’t for me.
