This book was the student book club pick at the school where I work so I thought I would try it. Not my genre, enough said.

This was a fun read, good if you're looking for something quick and entertaining. I loved all the characters, and the plotline was fairly interesting as well. It also got a bit emotional towards the end, which added some nice depth to it. Overall, a great book.

This book was great. I loved Gavin. I also struggle with reading and you know, he’s pretty relatable to someone like me. Scott was such a vibe, and Natalie is fantastic. So excited for book 2!

I remember loving this book. This is one of the books I really remember loving! Great characters and I hope it helps more kids love to read. A great read aloud to use a teacher or with your kids

The sixth grade students in Mrs. Wood's class hate the new standardized tests. The school is forcing them to do nothing but study and practice for the test and to make for time for this they cut out recess and extra activities. When the school cuts read aloud time, a favorite in Mrs. Wood's class, the students decide to take matters into their own hands to pass the test and get their reading time back.
Told through the eyes of six different students this story reflects the struggles of 6th graders who are growing into the people the will become while still needing some adult interference.
Good for ages 10 and up.

The Perfect Score is perfection. Told by 5 students, like the Mr Terupt series. Takes a swipe at the standardized test hysteria but it's about so much more. Absolutely fantastic.

I received an electronic review copy from Netgalley in exchange for an honest review.
