Before Us by J.M. Walker was amazing!! I loved everything about it and was hooked from the start!! The characters and storyline were amazing! I definitely recommend this book.

The novella Before Us is the beginning of Jaron and Piper. They have know each other since they were kids but now they felt something more.
As crass as Jaron can be he is wrapped up in Piper. When they are together the rest of the world doesn't exist. J.M. Walker makes us feel the push and pull between them. The action is fast paced and kept me turning the page, a few of the scenes were teeming with tension. J.M. Walker promised more which is a good thing because the ending is not an ending.
