I absolutely love Avery Aster's books :)
Love, Lex is a prequel companion to the series The Manhattanites.

After reading the often sad and heart-wrenching sci-fi, dystopian books I prefer it's so great to have Avery Aster's hilarious, snarky and downright sometimes absurd stories to escape to.

Love, Lex had me literally laughing out loud with some of the situations these characters get themselves into.

Officer Ford, hell-o *waves* that man is an Adonis. I'd do something to get arrested to meet my own but knowing my luck I'd get a mean, unattractive cop so I'm just going to remain an upstanding citizen and live vicariously through Lex's fantasies lol

I'd recommend this book to anyone interested in a humorous, New-adult book with fiery and sarcastic females with equally awesome bff's to escape real life :)

Happy reading!

Absolutely hilarious! This book reminds me of Gossip Girl, but with more steam and snark.

I received a copy of this book from the author in exchange for an honest review. I was not compensated in any way.

You will be happy to note that each chapter has a title, which will be good for the reader if they are looking for the perfect stopping point. But I found it very hard to stop.

Alexandra “Lex” Easton is a young woman who has always done her own thing. As you read, you will feel as if Lex is talking directly to you. This author has created a character that is not perfect and neither is her world. Ford Alessandro-Vollero-Gotti is sex on wheels and he just happens to stop Lex. Can we say fantasy material?

This story feeds on our perceived notion about the Hollywood/music star persona. The reader will also see how different BFFs can act when certain instances arise – it will make you think back to your own time growing up and if you had any friends like Lex’s. She also has a grown up story in the book titled Undressed that is part of Avery’s Manhattanites series - looking forward to that.

It almost seems like nothing is off limits so be prepared to have your body temperature rise. It’s certainly not like any romance I read at Lex’s age. This story will also remind the reader that you’re never too “old” or too “young” to have fantasies. And we all know what the opposite of fantasy is – you’ll just have to read for yourself. One thing that you will find out about this author is that she takes some serious moments and lightens them up a little. If you are going to read this book out in public, make sure that you know those around you – you just may let a giggle slip.
