honestly closer to a 2.5, but rounding up so I don't mess with this guy's rating.

Sennett's book combines the insights of numerous critiques and defenses of the values and practices of "the cutting edge" of consulting, global finance, the tech sector, and multinationals, and delivers an extraordinarily clear analysis of what these values and practices do to the people who try to work under them, and some ideas about how the deleterious effects that result--particularly the effects of this culture on politics--can be countervailed. I wish all politicians--and all business execs, and most of all, all university administrators--read this book.

It was basically about how men can't commit anymore.

I mean...when it comes to business. Like for reals. School is exciting.
