I fully believe this is a book you could read over and over again and take away something new. Today I'm reading this thinking about the bombings in Gaza and a close friend's heartbreaking loss. Tomorrow I could read this and think about my own painful relationships that have changed or ended. And the day after that, I could read this book and think about the challenges I experience at work and how I can use this book to let go of things I can't change.
Regardless of the challenges or sadness you feel about the world right now, Cleo has poems for you to help remember love in these tender (and hard) times.

Like a balm to the soul.
Especially during these times.
Wade gives me back a little bit of hope for humanity. If only we’d all realize we are one. There is no separation. There is no difference. We are all the same.

i too enjoy reading mary oliver and participating in the occasional therapy
but in all seriousness, i could feel what wade was processing, even if it didn’t quite needle its way into my heart like some other poetry has.
many thanks to rodale, inc. and netgalley for the advance copy.
